Here at Bacon’s Castle Baptist Church, we believe that children are the next generation of believers. They are the ones that Jesus said we must be like to enter the kingdom of heaven. So, we take great care to make sure they are built up in the Lord. We offer many different places for your children to be involved for this to happen.
CHILDREN PROGRAMS
Children’s church is provided for ages 3-5 during our 10:30 AM service. After the music time, we have the children dismissed to go to Children’s church. During this time, they read a bible story, sing some songs, and provide a snack. After the service, you can pick up your children in the children’s area.
Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:15 AM, we have our Children’s Sunday school for ages 0-11. Ages 0-3 meet in the nursery. Ages 3-11 meet in our children’s area which is downstairs toward the back of the church. Sunday school starts with a time of music and then they break off into age-appropriate classes. We use the Gospel Project curriculum so that what you are learning as an adult lines up with what your children are learning.
ATF is designed to teach boys and girls about Jesus through the Answers in Genesis “ABC” program. An ATF meeting consists of group worship time. Then they break off into individual classes for Lesson time that includes prayer, Bible truths, scripture memorization, lesson review game, story time, etc. For more information, you can view the handbook here.
