Series Minor Prophets With Major Points

Sunday we dove into the rather long Minor Prophet, Zechariah.  Over the next three Sundays we will be studying this book, and yesterday we looked at the first six chapters.  There are eight encouraging visions that Zechariah received in one night–all them combined serve to encourage, uplift and revitalize the people of God.  At the end of the teaching time, I took one principle from one of the visions and applied it to something God has promised us.  God promises He would do something extraordinary for us–not by our power or our might, but by the work of his Holy Spirit.

Jimmy Acree (Pastor Jimmy) has served as lead pastor elder of the Bacon’s Castle family since September of 1987. Fresh out of seminary, he returned to the area where God brought him and this church together.
